Intel Centrino 2 - The second version of Centrino

The Giant in computer processor world, Intel, announced the launch of its new Intel Centrino 2, which would be more advanced, provide faster speeds and capabilities in terms of the performance of WiFi-N & WiMax wireless as well as the regular processor performance. Intel rules the computer CPU world with every computer having a Intel processor in their computer. Their last launch was the Intel Centrino, which gave an amazing performance in the form of core 2 Duo. After having set the market on fire, Intel is now coming up with the second version of its amazing processor.

Intel Centrino 2 has amazing specifications. It includes WiFi-N adapter which is the fastest plus optional WiMax wireless networking adapter and Gigabit Ethernet, just a Vpro model. It also supports Blu-Ray, CrossFire dual GPus for laptops, HDMI and Display port. It also comes with the features of an upgraded Intel graphics processor, Integrated Graphics and Intel CPU with chipset. The only spec that is not known at this time is whether its compatible with types of GPus, Nvidia or Xti. The WiFi comes with an awesome 300 Mbps Intel Wi-Fi Link 5150 or 450Mbps Intel Wi-Fi Link 5350.

Essentially, Intel Centrino 2 would be a great advantage in Laptop and for its users. Since it has many increased power managing features, it is ideal for laptop users. It promises the ability to watch a full length Blu Ray film without the requirement of AC adapter. With several power management improvements, this was made possible, which was out of scope in the past. The power improvements such as Low-power CPU, DDR3 Ram and other features, decreases the power consumption by 25%!

well, Ironicaly, every new product proves either good or bad after it is time tested. Although the history of performance of any new release from Intel has been good, we can keep good hopes. However, lets wait and watch for the reviews on this.
